We are a non-profit British Columbia society, registered as a Canadian charity.
The West Coast Railway Association is an historical group dedicated to the preservation of the railway history of British Columbia. We operate the Railway Museum of British Columbia.
Membership is open to all people with an interest in railways past and present.
The West Coast Railway Association presents the story of how the railways were a catalyst in the creation of Western Canadian communities and their economies. This is done primarily at the Railway Museum of British Columbia (formerly the West Coast Railway Heritage Park) in Squamish, BC, where the collection of 95 heritage railway locomotives and cars are exhibited in a typical small community setting.
WCRA also operates specialty rail tours and the Locomotive 374 Pavilion in Vancouver.

All memberships include our quarterly newsletter. The Annual Membership + Pass option includes Railway Museum admission (except Special Events), mini rail, speeder and Budd car rides and discounts on food and merchandise.

Membership meetings
Our NEXT meeting will be Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at 7:00 pm PST.
In person – Cancelled: Due to 2020 Covid-19 health and safety protocols in place, ALL in person membership meetings have been cancelled since March, 2020.
Normally, The Association holds a monthly meeting on the last Tuesday of the month at 1930 hours in Burnaby at Rainbow Creek Station in Confederation Park. Members will be advised when in-person meetings will resume.
ZOOM membership e-meetings in 2022
WCRA has conducted Membership meetings ONLINE using the ZOOM e-meeting platform since November 2020.
Until we resume in-person meetings we will continue to conduct online ZOOM meetings.
Our NEXT meeting will be Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at 7:00 pm PST.
Future meetings will be September 27, and November 29.
